Adding "Sent as" from the Distribution List

By default, the distribution list is only used for incoming emails, and the email will be distributed to all members. and users cannot be sent an email (sent as) from the distribution list name. 

If the users want to send emails using the distribution list email, we need to add the users from the console to "Sent As" on the distribution list configuration.

Log in to the console, Click "Distribution List" on the dashboard menu, and select the distribution list you want to add users to "Sent As" by clicking the "Gear Icon."

Click "Sent As" → "Add Member";

Select the users who want to send as from their account using the distribution list name, and click "Add";

You will see a distribution list of "Sent As" in the list; you can add another by following this article.

Do the test by sending an email using a user that you have added. While composing a new mail, you will see "from address email" by clicking the dropdown menu on "from" to use their email address or their distribution list address
